Go on a leaf hunt!
Describing

Compare and contrast: Talk about how pies and cakes or acorns and pinecones are alike and how they are different.
Books and Pictures
Themed books about Fall are great ways to build connections with the world around you.
You can bring any book outside to identify vocabulary and talk about what you see!
Focus on a word or two on each page. Maybe it’s a person, place, or thing that you can find around you or an action you do!
Go on an adventure to your local library to find a book about Fall and nature!
Art and imagination
Draw a picture, do a leaf painting, or make an original creation. Go outside and build something out of sticks and leaves. Talk about what you made!
