Theresa Takacs, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Hi! I’m Theresa Takacs, certified Speech Language Pathologist here at Scoop Speech! I

graduated from The University of Georgia with a Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I have over 25 years of experience as a licensed SLP and consider it a joy and privilege to work with children helping them develop their communication skills and supporting families throughout the process.

Although I have worked with all ages, my first love is pediatrics and the majority of my experience has been with this population. I have extensive experience working with children who have a variety of articulation and language needs, including children with apraxia, autism, language delays, phonological/articulation disorders, fluency disorders, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, going on walks in the woods, watching birds

and hanging out with my two cats, Charlie and Ollie.
